Parking

There is a small parking lot at the church, but it fills quickly. Directly across from the church is a long driveway leading to a parking lot. And, at the corner of Park Ave. and 7th St. is a shopping center; you can park there, too.

From I-78

Get off at exit 40, Watchung/Plainfield and head towards Watchung. At the bottom of the hill, turn right, get onto the traffic circle, go 3/4 around the circle, and get off heading for The Plainfields. As you approach Route 22, read the signs carefully -- you will turn Left before reaching Route 22 in order to cross over the highway. (Do NOT get onto Route 22.) On the other side of the overpass, turn left onto Somerset Street. After about 10 blocks, Somerset Street changes its name to Park Ave. Keep going. The church is on the Right, between 7th and 8th Streets.

From Route 22, going East towards the Plainfields

Look for "The Plainfields" and turn right onto Somerset Street. After about 10 blocks, Somerset Street changes its name to Park Ave. Keep going. The church is on the Right, between 7th and 8th Streets.

From Route 22, going West towards the Plainfields

Look for "The Plainfields". Get on the overpass (read the signs CAREFULLY) to cross over Route 22. On the other side of the overpass, turn left onto Somerset Street. After about 10 blocks, Somerset Street changes its name to Park Ave. Keep going. The church is on the Right, between 7th and 8th Streets.

From I-287

Exit at Routes 22 or 78 and follow directions above.

From the Garden State Parkway Exit 131

(not exit 131A or 131B)... Get onto Route 27 West or North towards Metuchen. In a 1/2 mile, turn Right onto Wood Ave. In a 1/2 mile, turn left onto Oak Tree Road. After 3.5 miles, turn Right onto Park Avenue (Route 531 North) (on your left will be a Summit Bank; on the right, a McDonalds and an A&P). After about 2.5 miles, the church is on the Left, between 8th and 7th Streets.

From the Garden State Parkway Exit 140A

Get onto Route 22 West (watch the signs CLOSELY). Go many miles, looking for "The Plainfields". Get on the overpass (read the signs CAREFULLY) to cross over Route 22. On the other side of the overpass, turn left onto Somerset Street. After about 10 blocks, Somerset Street changes its name to Park Ave. Keep going. The church is on the Right, between 7th and 8th Streets.
