Going Deeper

First Sunday Explorers: Explorers conduct single meeting sessions on intriguing topics. It can be a current event, a congregational concern, a social justice issue, or a philosophical idea that sparks a passion. These single sessions can lead to further discussion, education, action or exploration opportunities- it is all up to you! First Sunday Explorers runs from October to April.

Town Hall Meetings: Our community gathers to discuss topics that concern our growth as a congregation and as individuals. There will be no Town Hall in May because of the Annual Meeting on May 21, 2017.

Men’s Breakfast: A monthly men’s fellowship and discussion group. Meetings are generally the third Saturday of the month. We sometimes meet off site so please call our administrator.

Women’s Alliance: A monthly women’s discussion and fellowship group. The meetings are supportive and fun and often center on a single enriching topic. This year’s eclectic topics included the co-housing movement, GMOs, Women in Sports and the 2016 Presidential Race.

Women’s Alliance Book Group: A monthly meeting of book loving Women’s Alliance members and sympathizers. These meetings are held off-site.Please check the calendar or the administrator for the site of the monthly meeting

Plainfield Atheists, Agnostics, & Freethinkers: A meeting on the 3rd Monday of the month to explore topics and issues relating to the secular movement and activism. Meetings start at 7:30 pm and all are welcome. Come join us for lively and thoughtful discussions, great speakers and engrossing topics. All are welcome.

Welcome and Book Table: Open on most Sundays directly after the 10:00 am Worship. The Book-table is a good place to find UU publications, poetry and essays, social justice books, the Common Read and UU themed gifts.
