 | | Worship services are held every Sunday at 10 AM and last for one hour. A coffee hour follows in the Parish Hall. Professional childcare is provided in our nursery. Parents are welcome to keep young children with them if they prefer. The minister’s study at the back of the sanctuary is equipped with speakers for parents who need to retire with restless children but still want to hear the service. Look at the article to the left for a more detailed description of the Sunday Services.

 | | We consider people of all ages to be welcome members of our community, and it is important to us that children and youth join us in the sanctuary for worship often. Children join us for the beginning of worship services twice a month, leaving for their Religious Education classes after the story. On other Sundays the children attend their own worship services in the parish hall before their classes.
| Intergenerational Services | | | Several times each year we hold intergenerational services in which youth and children are expected to join us, and often participate as worship leaders. These services are designed to be highly participatory with a great deal more movement than usual in order to create an enjoyable and meaningful experience for participants of all ages.

 | | Music is a very important part of worship at FUSP. Congregational singing, accompanied by piano or organ, is a part of every service. Our music director, Gail Slater, chooses special music from diverse sources, usually performed by our choir. We also have a bell choir, a children’s choir, and occasionally enjoy performances by members who are musicians. We welcome participation by anyone interested in being a part of our music program.
 | | Member participation in worship is very important at FUSP. A worship committee made up of lay members of the congregation is involved in the planning of worship services. In addition to minister led services, the worship committee supports lay-led services at least once a month and during our minister’s summer vacation. We encourage members to become involved in big and small ways in our worship services, supporting and training worship leaders and providing opportunities for members of the congregation to share of themselves.
 | | Once a month we share the money collected during our worship service with a local organization.
